Everybody faces challenges at different stages of life. Some greater than others. I enjoy witnessing the strength of the human spirit and the will to survive. I aim is to help the client to focus on their strengths (rather than their weaknesses). Furthermore to capitalise on their strengths and to realise their full potential. In times of crisis people tend to forget that they have actually overcome so much in life already and given the support they will be able to do so again. My motto is: Never Give Up! I have a wide variety of counselling experience with people ranging between 16 years and 70 years of age. Long term counselling can be costly therefore I aim to do short term counselling to assist the client to address the problem and to find ways of overcoming it. My speciality is to facilitate empowerment and insight through self exploration. I aim to build a good rapport and a trusting relationship with my clients through unconditional positive regard. By providing support, understanding and empathy a client will be able to feel comfortable enough to disclose and explore their feelings and experiences that have brought them to the situation they are faced with.
