I am a registered Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in private practice in Morningside, Sandton. I have worked in this capacity since October 2004.
I am also a full time lecturer and supervisor on the BPsych and MPsych professional training programmes at Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI). Previously I was a full time lecturer in the Wits Psychology Department, where I taught undergraduate and postgraduate classes, supervised postgraduate research and taught and supervised on the MA Clinical Psychology Programme. Prior to that I worked as the consultant psychologist on the eating disorder and adolescent ward at Tara Psychiatric Hospital.
I am a member of the South African Psychoanalysis Initiative (SAPI) and the South African Psychoanalytic Confederation (SAPC).
Since 2008 I have also run a successful medico-legal practice. I undertake medico-legal assessments for MVA, personal injury and medical negligence claims.
