I have a passion for working with people. It is an honour when clients trust you and allow you to be part of their personal mental health journey. The lived experience of each client is at the centre of my work.
I have a doctorate in psychology and a master's degree in clinical psychology. As part of my clinical training, I worked with adults and children at a number of public hospitals.
Prior to my clinical training, I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Psychiatry (SU). My postdoctoral work focused on schizophrenia and how psychiatric illnesses affect cognition, such as memory and attention. My postdoctoral work also helped me to gain insight and in-depth knowledge into our social brain (i.e. social cognition) and how this can be impacted by mental illness.
As part of my private practice, I offer psychotherapy as well as neuropsychological and medico-legal assessments.
